Lady Llanover

From the broad hat to the hardy apron, the traditional Welsh costume has been celebrated since the 18th century. The importance of the Welsh costume was noted by Lady Llanover who made attempts to preserve it. Even today, the costume is worn to celebrate St. David’s Day, in honor of the patron saint of Wales.
