Lillibet

As a young lady, Elizabeth Alexandra Mary of York was fondly known by her closest family as ‘Lillibet’. Described as a ‘jolly little girl’ with ‘an air of authority’ Elizabeth, born third in line to the throne, was never expected to become Queen. On 21st April 2011, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth, celebrates her 85th birthday and 59 years in reign.
