We are thrilled to unveil our summer window displays at our flagship stores in Cardiff and London, along with our outlet stores in Cheshire Oaks, Bridgend and Resorts World Birmingham.

We have worked with design company Tenn Ltd to create wonderfully unique and impactful window displays for our stores. The Summer Secret Garden at Clogau® celebrates our beautiful Forget-Me-Not and Tree of Life® Pearl collections.

Inspired by the cool summer breeze that delicately touches the Forget-Me-Not flower, charming and diminutive, thriving in many a secret garden. Since the early 15th century, the Forget-Me-Not has been worn as a sign of faithfulness and enduring love. In the Victorian ‘Language of Flowers’ they represented true love.

Here is a snippet from our mood board that we created to support our Summer Secret Garden concept:

Elegance enthused by the dainty pearls that decorate the flowers that flourish, lead us away from reality into the intimate, secluded oasis.

We are delighted with the results and a huge thank you to the team at Tenn Ltd for bringing our ideas and concepts to life!

Clogau Celebrate Queen Elizabeth’s 90th Birthday

On 21st April 2016, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II will celebrate her 90th birthday in Windsor with her husband, the Duke of Edinburgh. Festivities around the globe will take place to mark this special occasion.

Here at Clogau, we acknowledge and embrace our Welsh and British Royal roots which are at the heart of everything we do. Welsh gold is extremely rare and has been used by Royalty since 1911. Within every piece of Clogau jewellery is a touch of Welsh gold taken from the St David’s Gold Mine in Snowdonia, North Wales. This is the very same rare Welsh gold as used by Royalty, creating an esteemed association with the British Royal Family.

To celebrate the birthday of our longest reigning monarch, we have launched a limited edition piece, containing rare Welsh gold. This beautiful 9ct ingot style pendant, is lovingly hand-crafted, featuring a beautiful diamond set motif inspired by the Tudor Rose, the plant badge for England.

This stunning pendant, containing rare Welsh gold is limited to just 90 pieces – an heirloom for future generations to come.

This exquisite piece is available online only.

Recently crowned Jewellery Brand of the Year at this year’s UK Jewellery Awards, we are thrilled to be a part of Westfield, London offering the ultimate shopping experience with over 300 designer and high street labels under one stunning roof.

Westfield London is rated the number one shopping centre in the UK and is in the top five tourist shopping destinations in London. The Village was the first luxury offer inside a shopping centre in the UK and has proved popular, attracting over 100 million visitors since opening in 2008. Thus, embarking on this exciting relationship with Westfield London will undoubtedly strengthen the brands growing UK profile and status to international partners and consumers.

Clogau are excited to begin a new chapter of our brand development and taking a significant step into expanding our footprint in London. The brand new store will offer a wide range of current product lines while celebrating their wonderful connection to the British Royal family with their royal-inspired collections, in association with Historic Royal Palaces.

In May 2015, Resorts World Birmingham welcomed His Royal Highness, the Duke of Kent. Clogau are excited to be a part of the first large scale outlet shopping venue, Resorts World and to begin a new chapter of their brand development in the West Midlands, offering a wide range of discounted and exclusive product lines.

Ben Roberts, Managing Director at Clogau talks about the two store openings:

With three stores already in the UK and a recent concentration on replicating this in China where we now have five stores, we find ourselves in a position where the footprint in the UK, especially the Capital city, needs to be strengthened.

The London and Birmingham stores whilst exciting couldn’t be more different. Westfield London is a flagship store and Resorts World Birmingham is an outlet store. Both have their place in our existing offering but for different reasons. Nevertheless, it’s exciting to see the brand growing in this way.

Welsh businessman completes the longest civilian abseil in history

Clogau Chairman and North Wales based entrepreneur, Bill Roberts, has conquered a major feet in the name of charity as he took part in the recent City Three Peaks event in London.

The event saw intrepid adventurers, philanthropists and business leaders abseil down 3 of the UKs most iconic buildings:  The Gherkin, The Cheesegrater and The Walkie Talkie.  The amazing 1,916 foot abseil is the longest civilian abseil ever undertaken in history and it is the first time all three of these buildings have been officially involved in this sort of challenge.

Bill joins an even more elite group as he was only one of four people taking part who had also completed the historic ‘Descent of The Shard” in 2012 during which time he raised over £27,000 for the charity.

Roberts said: “It wasn’t your average Monday!  It was one heck of an experience and all in the name of charity.”

Being Chairman of a globally renowned Health & Safety Software firm, Safety Media, Roberts was especially keen to keep an eye on the technical side making sure everything was up to scratch and all training was taken seriously.

He went on to comment: “At the tender age of 71 I did not dream I would be able to achieve so much for such a worthy charity but in the spirit of The Outward Bound Trust it just goes to show what you can achieve if you give it a go and believe in yourself.”

More than simply a thrill seeking exercise Bill has a target of raising over £100,000 for The Outward Bound Trust which is a charity that seeks to improve the lives and opportunities of thousands of young people across the UK.  Together with the other courageous fundraisers the event is set to raise over £4 million for The Outward Bound Trust, The Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity.

Sparkle, statement and organic simplicity encapsulates Clogau’s Autumn & Winter ’15 collections

From the irresistibly captivating Peacock Throne, to the sumptuous Ar Dân, to the natural filigrees adorning the Tree of Life Pearl, Clogau celebrate a creative and individualistic style for Autumn and Winter 2015. The brand new pieces launching by the award winning brand this August bring a natural but glamorous twist to any outfit while also appealing to all budgets.

Peacock Throne

The Peacock Throne, one of the most splendorous thrones ever made was ascended by silver steps and stood on golden feet set with jewels; and it was backed by representations of two open peacocks’ tails, gilded, enameled, and inset with the famous Koh-i-noor  & Akbar Shah diamonds, Samarian Spinel, and many other exquisite stones. The sublime 18ct yellow gold collection is inspired by the famous golden throne and celebrates the opulence of the precious gemstones providing truly unique pieces of fine jewellery.

Tree of Life Pearl

The beauty and allure of pearls have across centuries and cultures long been associated with wealth, royalty and glamour and define this collection as an heirloom that will be treasured by generations to come. Over time, pearls have become symbols of purity and innocence and these, when combined with our distinctive Tree of Life filigree create classic and highly desirable pieces of jewellery.

Ar Dân

Lustrous white chalcedony, intense red rhodalite and glowing blue topaz are cradled by sublime yellow, rose and white golds. The inspiration for this dramatic and elegant collection derives from the phrase Ar Dân, Welsh for ablaze or on fire. The Ar Dân collection of occasion jewellery is seductively accented with sparkling white diamonds – guaranteed to add that perfect touch of glamour.

Affinity Stacking Rings

True to its definition, the inherent likeness and seamless connection between the interlocking heart designs in this collection, offer the opportunity to re-design your look to reflect your outfit and your mood. Our Affinity collection is a nod to the symbiotic relationship we have with our past and how we learn from it to adapt for our future.

Clogau win big at UK Jewellery Awards 2015

A spectacular night for iconic Welsh gold jewellery brand as they walk away with not one, but two awards at last night’s UK Jewellery Awards.

Held at the Tower of London, the awards were attended by almost 700 guests and we were thrilled to have been a part of such a fabulous evening.

The UKJAs are the only awards for the jewellery industry, that are judged by the industry and it is safe to say the competition in all categories, especially Brand and Bridal Collection, was extremely tough, making us very proud of our achievements.

Clogau, who are currently celebrating their 25th anniversary and marking the milestone with its most exciting brand campaign to date, Heritage, are truly delighted to be at the top of the bill for brand and their exquisite new bridal concept Clogau Compose.

The jewellery brand who celebrate their unique Welsh heritage and esteemed connection with the British Royal family could not be happier to receive such accolades at such a significant milestone in their history.

The exquisite Clogau Compose bridal collection combines Clogau’s inspiring brand heritage with the consumers desire to create their own bespoke diamond ring that is handcrafted by Clogau.

Clogau would like to take this opportunity to thank the team, our retailers at home and overseas, our international partners, and of course our loyal customers for their continued support.

Congratulations once again to all finalists and winners at this year’s UK Jewellery Awards.
