The Royal Family

Royal Wedding Dolls

Designed to showcase the very best of British style, London toy company, Arklu™, has launched the Royal Wedding Dolls in celebration of the Royal wedding back in April of this year.

Following-on from the Princess Catherine Engagement Doll, the Royal Wedding Dolls were officially launched at fine London toy store, Hamleys, last week and retail at £100 for the pair or £50 for the Princess Catherine Wedding Doll alone. £1 from every purchase will be donated to the RNLI.

“Renowned designers and artists have contributed to the Catherine doll on details including the tiara, engagement ring, shoes, make-up, bridal bouquet and “something blue” knickers.” BBC News UK

One of those renowned designers is us – Clogau Gold! We were pleased to be asked to design the dolls wedding band, in keeping with Catherine’s real wedding band which is made from pure Welsh gold, a tradition upheld by the Royal Family, since 1923.

The simple gold band can be seen on the Catherine dolls ring finger, above the engagement ring. You can purchase the dolls direct from Arklu, here, or from Hamleys, here.

These delightful dolls compliment our own Royally inspired jewellery collections, such as Royal Clogau, Royal Roses and our The Windsor Collection of classic wedding rings.

Autumn/Winter 2011

Autumn/Winter 2011

It’s here!

After months of preparation, this week brought with it the long-anticipated launch of our Autumn/Winter offering. And may we just say, we think we’ve quite possibly outdone ourselves this time!

Not only have we offered you over 70 brand new (and beautiful) pieces, including 5 completely brand new collections, but we’ve also introduced a new-style brochure and a new-look website.

Key Notes

Oh we do spoil you, Clogau lovers!

The first thing you’ll notice about the brochure is the new size, we made this decision in order to make a brand statement and to better showcase the jewellery. We have created more of a coffee table book, rather than just a product catalogue.

Gone is the slate background with floral detailing to make way for the second most obvious difference, the product images. All of our jewellery has been re-photographed and set on a white background – now you can see every intricate detail!

We understand that some of our customers prefer to try-on jewellery before they buy, so we’ve tried to give you a better idea of how the items look close up.

Other changes include stunning model shots and more detailed jewellery descriptions. You may also notice that our website has changed, take a look for yourself at

Customers will be receiving their Autumn/Winter 2011 brochure this week, however, if you’re not already on our mailing list, register here, and be sure to let us know what you think about the new-look by emailing
