Rose Gold Rings
If there's one item that captures the imagination of our customers, it's the rose gold ring. For centuries, the ring has been used as an expression of love, status, marriage, commitment, friendship, and of course, personal taste. With rings for both women and men, Clogau's evolving range of rose gold rings features a wide range of designs, colours and finishes to ensure you make the perfect choice.
From the Welsh word meaning 'dear', the unisex Annwyl ring is influenced by the Celts' love for endlessly flowing weave patterns, which have become associated with Wales.

Rose gold rings are undoubtedly one of the fastest growing and most loved pieces of jewellery, particularly amongst younger and more fashion-conscious ladies. At Clogau we’re truly passionate about exploring the possibilities that rose gold has to offer.
But our love of rose gold goes back way before it became so fashionable. Indeed, some of our very first pieces over 25 years ago included rose gold, long before other jewellery brands were using it. Our ranges since then have all extensively incorporated this beautiful and unusual gold and it has become one of our hallmarks as a brand.
Our original inspiration for using rose gold came when we started mining in the St. David's Gold Mine in Snowdonia in the 1990s.
Instead of looking yellow like most gold, we noticed that our Welsh gold often had a rose tint to it. This was due to the addition of copper. Back in the mid 1800's, the mine was originally a copper mine, and it was only later that the Victorian miners noticed that the copper also contained traces of gold.
By the early 1900s the Clogau mine was one of the most productive gold mines in Britain and even provided the gold used in many wedding rings owned by the Royal family since 1923.
This heritage is something we are very proud of at Clogau and our designers go to great lengths to ensure that each piece is given the attention, care and love it deserves whilst incorporating this precious metal.
So whether you’re searching for an opulent and eye-catching design to save for special occasions, or maybe something fasionable to be worn every day, our selection of rose gold rings offer you something that is truly unique to anyone else – along with a connection to a long and fascinating Welsh heritage.
