    I would give this item 5 stars because it is beautiful. However, the heart drop is very light and so I do find the catch on the chain tends to slip round to the front, especially when worn as a shorter length chain. It won't stop me wearing it though.

    I realise it is probably my fault in that I looked only at the website picture and did not check the dimensions. However this item's size is more suitable for a child's christening gift than for a lady's 75th birthday. The whole point of it was that it had the word CARIAD on it as a reminder of the Cariad ring I bought her before we were married. Unfortunately the writing is so small as to be insignificant....not ideal for a Cariad I'm sure you will agree. I think my wife was so embarrassed that she did not wear it when we went out.

    Dainty but special. I have a couple of gold pieces from the Clogau range which I have had for a number of years and they are still as beautiful as the day I got them 15+ years ago! I was unsure what I wanted for Christmas from my husband so I looked on the Clogau website for some inspiration and decided to go for this pendant as its quite delicate but very classic. I wasnt disappointed and I am hoping I will get the matching earrings for my birthday!

Watches normally have an ATM classification which relates to their degree of water resistance.

ATM is a measure of atmospheric pressure at sea level. 3ATM means the watch can withstand 3 times the atmospheric pressure at sea level and 5ATM to 5 times the atmospheric pressure at sea level. This can sometimes cause confusion as some people interpret this as how far the watch can be taken underwater before it is compromised. This is incorrect. As rain water splashes against your watch it hits it with a degree pressure. This is what the ATM measurement relates to; the pressure of splashes against your watch.

Clogau watches have a water-resistant rating of either:

3ATM or 30m (3 Bar)
5ATM or 50m (5 Bar)

These make them suitable for everyday use and resistant to modest water/rain splashes. They are not suitable for swimming, showering, bathing, diving or water sports so you will need to remove your Clogau watch before taking part in these activities. It’s also important to remove your watch before entering a steam room or a sauna. Extreme heat can cause damage to the watch seals and condensation can form inside the watch.
