Clogau is a premium British jewellery brand, with Welsh heritage, celebrated for craftsmanship and meaningful design. We are looking for a passionate and customer-focused Christmas Temporary Sales Assistant to join our Cheshire Oaks Outlet during our busiest and most exciting trading period of the year.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships with customers, working as part of a team and providing a high standard of service. During the festive period, you will play an important role in helping customers find meaningful gifts while delivering the exceptional and personalised experience expected from the Clogau brand.

The Role: Christmas Temporary Sales Assistant

Location: Cheshire Oaks Outlet

Working Hours: 18 hours per week

Contract: Temporary Christmas contract – commencing early/mid-November 2026 until 31 December 2026

Salary: £26,500 per annum pro rata, which equates to £11,925 per annum + commission.

Working Pattern:

• Monday: 13:00 – 19:00
• Friday: 14:00 – 20:00
• Sunday: 12:00 – 18:00

Due to the nature of this Christmas temporary position, you must be able to commit to the advertised working pattern and be available throughout the festive trading period until 31 December 2026.

The Role

As a Christmas Temporary Sales Assistant, you will act as a brand ambassador for Clogau, providing customers with an exceptional in-store experience and contributing to the achievement of the store's sales and service goals during our busy festive trading period.

You will take the time to understand each customer's needs, using your product knowledge and the Clogau story to help customers select meaningful gifts and create a personalised and memorable experience.

Working closely with your colleagues and Store Management team, you will support the smooth day-to-day operation of the store during this key trading period and help maintain the high standards expected across our stores.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver exceptional and personalised customer service, ensuring every customer receives a positive and memorable experience.
• Help customers select meaningful Christmas gifts through a friendly, professional and consultative approach to selling.
• Contribute to the achievement of individual and store sales and service goals during the busy festive trading period.
• Identify and maximise sales opportunities while ensuring the customer's needs remain at the heart of the experience.
• Develop and maintain excellent knowledge of Clogau products, collections, heritage and brand story.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the store operates efficiently and delivers consistently high standards, particularly during busy trading periods.
• Use the store EPOS system accurately to process purchases, refunds and other customer transactions.
• Support stock control processes, including stock takes, and ensure stock is handled and stored securely throughout the day.
• Maintain exceptional store presentation, including cleanliness, displays and overall appearance, in line with Clogau's standards.
• Support the security of the store by following company security procedures and remaining vigilant at all times.
• Handle customer questions and service queries professionally, escalating to Store Management where appropriate.
• Complete required training and e-learning to develop product knowledge, customer service and selling skills.
• Uphold Clogau's brand values, heritage and service standards at all times.
