Clogau is a premium British jewellery brand, with Welsh heritage, celebrated for craftsmanship, heritage and meaningful design. We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Supervisor to support the leadership of our boutique while delivering an exceptional luxury shopping experience.

This role is ideal for someone with supervisory or senior sales experience within luxury or premium retail,, who enjoys leading by example, inspiring others and building lasting customer relationships.

The Role: Supervisor

Location: Llandudno

Working Hours: 40 hours per week

Salary: £27,000 - £29,000 per annum + commission.

Working Pattern (subject to change):

  • Monday 08:30 - 18:00
  • Tuesday 08:30 - 18:00
  • Wednesday 08:30 - 18:00
  • Thursday 12:00 - 16:00
  • Saturday 08:30 - 18:00

The Role

As a Supervisor, you will play a key role in supporting the Store Manager with the day-to-day operation of the boutique. You will lead by example on the shop floor, helping to create an outstanding customer experience while motivating the team to achieve sales and service objectives.

Main duties include, although not to be limited to:

  • Support the Store Manager with the day-to-day operation of the boutique, deputising in their absence when required.
  • Lead, motivate and coach the store team to deliver exceptional luxury customer experiences and achieve sales targets.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service, professionally resolving customer queries and service issues.
  • Ensure all customer sales documentation is completed accurately and in line with company procedures.
  • Complete or oversee daily cash handling and cashing-up procedures, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Assist with recruitment, onboarding, induction and the performance development of team members.
  • Support stock management, including deliveries, stock control and stock takes, ensuring stock is stored securely and accurately.
  • Maintain exceptional boutique presentation, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, visual merchandising, displays and colleague appearance are consistently upheld.
  • Ensure all opening, closing, security and alarm procedures are followed, and that all colleagues understand their keyholder responsibilities.
  • Provide out-of-hours support in response to alarm activations where required as part of keyholder responsibilities.
  • Support the wider retail business through travel to other stores when required.

To be considered for this supervisor role you will have the following experience, skills and attributes;

  • Previous supervisory or senior sales experience within luxury or premium retail (essential)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A proactive and positive approach to leading others
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • The ability to work confidently in a fast-paced retail environment
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • The ability to successfully pass a DBS check
  • Flexibility to travel to other stores when required
